Owner and Founder
I have always been drawn to the intersection of creativity, psychology, and strategy. In 2006, I launched Metro-Designs, a business dedicated to branding, design, and marketing that makes a real impact. It was my second attempt at building a creative agency, following my first venture, Receptive Imagination, which I loved for how it captured my creative process. However, I quickly realized that a name people could easily spell and remember was just as important as the vision behind it.
With 25 years of experience in marketing, design, and branding, I have worked across industries, from corporate and nonprofit to wellness and mission-driven businesses. My career has been built on understanding the psychology of design and how visual storytelling can shape connections between brands and their audiences. Over the years, I have managed marketing strategies for multiple businesses, overseen branding projects from concept to execution, and developed data-driven campaigns that engage and inspire.
In addition to Metro-Designs, I founded Metro-Events, my Etsy and Zazzle shop specializing in digital and printed custom designs for party supplies, decorations, and invitations. Metro-Events brings creativity to celebrations, offering high-quality, customizable designs that make every occasion unique.
I also launched Journals to Healing, a collection of guided journals designed to help people through self-reflection and personal growth. My psychology, marketing, and design background has allowed me to create tools that look good and serve a deeper purpose.
Throughout my career, my focus has remained the same. I am passionate about helping businesses and organizations craft authentic, meaningful branding that connects with their audience on a deeper level. Whether through design, content, or strategy, my goal is always to create work that resonates, inspires, and drives impact.

Hayleigh Hayhurst is the founder of Espresso Podcast Production, a full-service podcast management agency offering end-to-end services covering every stage of podcasting—from concept and launch to editing to audience growth and monetization. We help clients focus on sharing their expertise without the technical or creative hurdles.
In addition to her client work, Hayleigh hosts two podcasts: Employee to Boss, focusing on entrepreneurship and business growth, and the Podcast Café, a show that aims to elevate the craft of podcasting for both beginners and seasoned creators. Beyond her professional life, Hayleigh is a Seattle-local who enjoys visiting coffee shops and spending time with her rescue dog, Captain.
Hayleigh’s journey with Metro-Designs began through a mutual connection when she and Brandilyn worked together on a podcast project for a client. From the moment they met, something clicked. When Brandilyn decided to revamp and restructure Metro-Designs, it was only natural to reach out to Hayleigh and invite her to partner in expanding client services.
They recognized their shared passion for ethical marketing and creative storytelling, so Hayleigh became a valuable partner to the Metro-Designs team. With her expertise in Podcast Production, she plays a key role in enhancing the company’s mission. Her dedication to innovative and impactful marketing continues to help Metro-Designs clients grow and evolve within their own businesses.
